The last week of August - the last week of summer - now the leaves will be getting ready to descend. Happy almost September. We have 55 single family homes on the market this week - relatively stable from last week but a low inventory. The traffic through my listings has been good but it is definitely slower than what is it was in July. We have not seen many homes under $500,000 sell in the past 3 week.s This will hopefully change in September. We had 3 new listings come on the market this week - one was a reissue that has been on the market 102 days. One was a short sale that the present owner paid over $500,000 in 2005 and, after 360 days, just got a contract when listed at $360,000 - the split foyer on Conquest.
