The market continues to be very quiet. There is little traffic going through the listings. The inventory also has remained low this week - 79 single family homes in Oak Hill/Herndon. Three homes received contracts but one of them was a preforeclosure that already had a contract on it for 80 days, lost it and now they have attempted to resell it and it has a contract on it one more time. There were 6 new listings that came on the market this week - 2 of which were relisted homes. Hopefully, mid month September will show some life. We have been sort of quiet in the past around September 11th and then the market would come back - hopefully, the past will repeat itself.
