Happy Safe New Year! It will be an interesting market in real estate this year. Nothing seems to have changed for the better in our economy, but it seems that the DC market has fared much better than the rest of the country. This week, we has one new listing and have 18 homes on the market in 20171. We should see an increase in listings this month. The new listings increase each month and then level off in May. The house on Pinecrest received a contract 30 days ago and they just changed the status. One of the houses is a short sale and two of the 3 houses were on the market over 200 days.
