The inventory increased substantially this week. We now have 29 single family homes in 20171 and 7 new listings. One was a flipped house that was bought as a foreclosure by an investor, remodeled and then put back on the market and the other one was a very low short sale. The flipped house was purchased for $443,000 in September 2010 and he put it on the market at $624,950 and got a contract on the home in 6 days. The other home on Cobra was a short sale. The home has a 2500 square feet, purchased in 2004 at $564,000. That person sold in 2007 for $640,000 to another person and now it is a short sale on the market at $450,000. We wonder why our economy and the banks are in such bad shape. This is just one listing. There are two issues that are evident in this transaction. The loss of values continue to reoccur as the years go by.  It seems that while the banks are losing money, the individual investors are capitalizing on it.
