The market continues to slow down eventhough interest rates have adjusted downwards. I still think it has a lot to do with the Fourth of July in the middle of the weekend - affecting two weeks - but we will see as we head towards August. In Oak Hill, we have 53 homes for sale so an increase in number of single family homes for sale. They were on the market from 5 days to 195 days. There were only 4 homes sold this week - http://matrix.mris.com/Matrix/Public/Email.aspx?ID=31841327396. There were 8 new listings that came on this week - http://matrix.mris.com/Matrix/Public/Email.aspx?ID=31841311398. So you can see the inventory is not disappearing as fast so the inventory is starting to increase. This week should show some improvement.
