The inventory continues to shrink. We are at a low of 32 single family homes for sale in Oak Hill/Herndon - down from 36 last week. As I had said in a previous blog, the market was in a frenzy when the inventory was at 30. I put a listing on the market 13 days ago. With my marketing and the internet advertising, they had approximately 50 people through the house in those 13 days - amazing amount of traffic. We did not have any new listings this week. Till after the Holidays, I think the number of new listings will be minimal. We had 4 homes sold - one of which was the one that I listed 13 days ago. I think the buyers are finding it quite impossible to find their new home. A perfect time for sellers to sell - no competition.
