My Real Estate Blog

The market was a little weaker this week. There are 44 single family homes on the market - which is about the same than last week. There were 5 new listings. To see those, http://mrislistings.mris.com/Matrix/Public/Portal.aspx?k=524916XJRPL&p=DE-91715549-428 - one of which is a short sale. The negative news is that only 1 home sold this week - which is the lowest number of homes that have sold since last January/February.  Hoping it was just the 3 day holiday weekend and we will get back on track this week. It also may be the end of the opportunity to use the $8,000 credit since settlement has to occur by December 1st to qualify - the time for being able to do that would be the end of this month. We should be able to see some differences in the market next few weeks as a result of the $8,000 credit going away.
